Business Goal Tracking for Week 8 of 2022
In February 2022, I set three overall monthly goals and three weekly habits to help me meet my revenue and workshop enrollment goals for 2022. This is my accountability report for how I did against these goals between 2/19/2022 and 2/25/2022.

- Write and schedule promotional emails and Tweets for tax workshops
- Devote two hours to professional development
Week Overall
Another full week of childcare! And I was feeling really good about my meetings with potential clients and other various good news in my business and personal life.
Monthly Goal 1: Publish the postdoc version of my annual tax return workshop
Done as of two weeks ago!
Monthly Goal 2: Create lead magnet and sales page for prospective grad student webinar
I created a very significant sign-up bonus for the prospective grad student webinar and started on the sales page. Before next Monday, I’ll have to finish up that sales page.
Monthly Goal 3: Consider how to expand tax products this tax season
I didn’t do any work toward this goal this week. I’m going to have to bump it to next month.
Weekly Goal 1: Stay on top of all communications with university clients, including creating workshop copies and financials
I did stay on top of my replies to communications, including creating copies of the tax workshop. However, I had planned to proactively reach out to numerous clients this week, which I didn’t get around to. I also wanted to send some not-super-time-sensitive invoices, which I procrastinated. All of that really needs to happen next week.
Weekly Goal 2: Write and schedule promotional emails and Tweets for tax workshops
I completely spaced on this goal with respect to the Tweets! I only had one scheduled, and posted a couple spontaneously. I didn’t have any promotional emails that I needed to send.
Weekly Goal 3: Devote two hours to professional development
I only did one hour of professional development this week.

- Advertising — 0.77%
- Community membership + tax workshop sales (individual) — 1.55%
- Public speaking — 3.78%
- Sum — 6.09%
I FINALLY got paid for my final 2021 speaking invoice this week!!!!
Cumulative Workshop Enrollment to Date (5,000 is “Best” goal): 731
Also very exciting: In addition to the # of enrolled participants above, I have a wait list going for a client with ONE HUNDRED people on it! I don’t know for sure if the will pay for everyone on the wait list, but I’m hopeful!
