We had a busy last week but our weekend is pretty open. Because Monday was my only free evening, I worked late. On Tuesday we saw Sister Act – probably our last show at our local theater EVER! So sad. On Wednesday we had small group as usual. On Thursday my parents spent the night at our place on their way to Atlanta. We were planning to go out to dinner with them but they didn’t get in until after 10 PM so we went out for breakfast on Friday morning instead.
This week I also did a clinical study for $35 and got a new haircut. The last haircut I got was terrible (as in, uneven); when the stylist I went to saw it she was like “What was this person thinking??” I changed my bangs style and it’s something to get used to. Kyle said that my hair now looks like the hair of someone who has braces. That’s probably the weirdest hair observation I’ve ever heard!

Well Heeled Blog made a great point on communication about finances that I think is applicable to all couples, long-distance or not: “I also like to talk about money stuff over email or texts – that way there’s a paper trail and we can reference the info later if we forget (how much $$ to transfer from savings to checking, how much $$ do we need to budget for XYZ, etc.)”
