Kyle and I are starting to FREAK OUT about moving!  We are way unprepared and we’ve had a busy weekend!  We were so distracted by Campout last week that we didn’t do anything like get boxes until Saturday.  And now we have to pack up our whole place…  *sticks head in sand*

Actually, we did something super productive – we got my car running.  It turned out that the battery had gone bad so we just bought a new one and it turns on and drives and everything!

Aside from moving-related stuff, I attended an interest meeting this week for the small business incubator at my university.  I just wanted to see if they had any resources that would be useful to me regarding making this website into a legit business.  I know blogs/websites aren’t the kind of entrepreneurial ventures they are looking for but there might be a couple useful aspects to being part of the group.  So I might end up applying to be part of that incubator!  Maybe I can even get Kyle to take EPF seriously.  😉

This week I wrote a guest post for Crystal at Budgeting in the Fun Stuff.  If you don’t already know what university we attend (I’m looking at you Mrs. Pop!) you will see it explicitly over there as I discuss how becoming basketball fans has improved our finances.

Thanks for the mention Emily. I’m sure you guys will find a way to get all the moving stuff accomplished. Last-minute panic has a way of making things happen, haha. The incubator sounds like an interesting idea as well. I’ll be interested to hear what you guys learn from it.

Academically, we almost couldn’t be attending our rival school, actually. They have just recently launched degree programs in our fields, whereas where we are those disciplines are well-established.
