Weekly Update 40
Um… Thanksgiving happened. We drove to my parents’ house on Wednesday night and came back to Durham Saturday night. I had a lot of nice time with family but not as much as I would have liked with friends. :/ I also gave lab meeting last week, which went fine. I have several ideas of things to try out in the immediate future so I should be keeping busy.

Kraig from Young, Cheap Living took my post on boomerang kids one step further, saying “I wonder whether living with your parents as an adult really helps a person… Instead of moving home, he or she cuts their lifestyle down drastically and cuts out all unnecessary spending to the point where they save the same amount of money every month as they would have living with their parents… The second person just made a lifestyle change that will help them for life. The boomerang adult has $5-10,000 in the bank. Which one will get he/she further in life?”

Thanks for the mention.
It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving has come and gone. These four day weekends don’t seem like four days.
